About The farmer-florist and the origins of Homegrown Blooms

Cady combines her passion for agriculture with her background in the arts & design to produce unique floral arrangements.

"I choose to spend the rest of my life engaged in a field that ties me to the land and to the community.  I want my farm to help promote healthy lifestyles and to ensure access to nutritious foods and local organically grown flowers."

Cady is currently pursuing her degree in Sustainable Agriculture. Sustainability rests on the principle that we must meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. After years of working in agriculture from everything to dairy farming in Vermont to working on a biodynamic vegetable/flower farm in Florida, Cady returned to her hometown Westport, Massachusetts where she opened Homegrown Blooms. Homegrown Blooms' mission is to bring more beauty into the world with local flowers.

To best accommodate your order requests at least a weeks notice is recommended.  Bringing a clients vision to life is our top priority, although we cannot promise exact replicas of designs shown for inspiration. Creative freedom is a valued  part of the design process bringing forth our most stunning work. Due to the nature of organic materials, Homegrown Blooms cannot be held responsible for the flowers after delivery or pick up.
